music

String Theory's music is cinematic, lush and compelling, exploring a range of styles from modern ambient to pop to 15th C. Spanish Renaissance. The ensemble is known for its agile approach to genre-mixing, seamlessly segueing from an opera piece to a rock song, and moving from an ethnic percussion driven piece to a modern classical composition for invented long-string Harp. This blending of styles is evident in the ensemble's lineup of gifted performers and writers, who range from classically trained, to jazz players and pop writers. String Theory has carved out a niche for themselves in the world of film and television music composition by utilizing their unique sonic palette, along with their facile capacity to write high quality themes, cues and songs in many styles.
