Things To Do

It's music. It's art. And, not least, it's a huge harp.

Luke Rothschild's sonic sculpture, "Fin Harp," opened Wednesday at the Straz Center in downtown Tampa with a public performance by String Theory.

The oversized "Fin Harp" has 14 brass wires stretching more than 100 feet from near the newly opened stretch of the Riverwalk to the roof of the Straz Center, making the harp and the building a huge, interactive instrument.

"Fin Harp" will remain through Riverfest on May 2 and 3.
